Dr. Ahmad I. Assiri is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the Faculty of Languages and
Translation, King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia. He did his MA from West Virginia
University, USA; and finished his PhD at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He is
interested mainly in Syntactic Theory, with a focus on Arabic Syntax. He has an equal interest in
other fields Linguistics such as Sociolinguistics and Phonology.

Dr Ahlullah Siddiqui is a senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Translation ,King
Khalid University , Saudi Arabia . He is a Fulbright scholar, and completed his professional
development and research program at University of California ,Los Angeles and at Washington
D.C . Apart from his PhD in sociolinguistics, he is a Master Reviewer and actively involved with
research and course review with Quality Matters, Annapolis Maryland.
