We have the pleasure of introducing the newest issue of Arab World English Journal (AWEJ) to you. We are glad to inform you that AWEJ has accomplished a good international academic recognition and concern in six months. Also, British Council in Damascus e News has posted AWEJ on its first page http://www.britishcouncil.org/syria_talking_english_enews_january_2011-2.pdf., giving detailed information about AWEJ and announcing the call for papers In addition, AWEJ has received a number of inventions to attend international conferences. We are sincerely thankful to our colleagues for these kind initiatives and we hope we could work together for better achievements in teaching and learning English language. AWEJ will publish these international activities in our website. Moreover, we would like to confirm to our respected readers in spite of Arab World English Journal (AWEJ) don’t have sponsors yet, all AWEJ issues will remain free of access to our readers. Readers can save and organize AWEJ articles — and any pages from around the Web.

Finally, we are so happy to break the news that AWEJ’s team is now more than sixty of selected and distinguished academic scholars from all around the global and they are covering all English language areas. This good start bodes well not only for AWEJ and our readers, but also for English language learners all over the world.
